St Catherine’s Hospice Midnight Walk 2022
Mancini Legal are extremely proud to announce the completion of the St Catherine’s Hospice Midnight Walk 2022!
St Catherine’s Hospice was established in 1983 and are experts in end-of-life care. They’re the leading provider of hospice care in Sussex and East Surrey, helping around 2,100 terminally ill people, their family members, friends, and carers each year.
Their organisation relies solely upon the generosity of our community, which enables them to provide tailored care plans to those in need. Whether it’s something as simple as a warm bath, a hot meal or helping someone manage their pain, St Catherine’s Hospice has been supporting our much-loved community for nearly 40 years.
On Saturday 3rd September 2022, Nadine Moaddel, Jay Gasson, Laura Brown, Janice Gorringe and Lucille Sullivan of Mancini Legal all took part in St Catherine’s Hospice annual Midnight Walk to raise money for their efforts in supporting people who need care the most.
Starting at 10pm, the team set off in great spirits in what would eventually become a 5-hour trek, finishing at 3am; everyone involved had an amazing time, sharing laughs, life stories and plenty of sweets to get them through the dreaded “runners wall” (or in this case, walkers wall).
Come 2am, with the team growing tired, Janice’s partner saved the day with some chips to further replenish energy levels, and off went the team on their final push to reach 3am!
Collectively, and between both teams, Mancini Legal have raised a whopping £730 for St Catherine’s Hospice!
The entire team at Mancini Legal would like to say a massive congratulations to everyone who took part; we are extremely proud to have such incredible hard working, dedicated and generous professionals in our team, and we cannot wait to aim higher for next years annual St Catherine’s Hospice Midnight Walk.
