Mancini Legal Joins Will Aid 2025: Make Your Will in November and Support Eight Great Charities
This November 2025, Mancini Legal is proud to take part in Will Aid, the UK-wide will-writing campaign that helps you put a proper Will in place while raising money for eight life-changing charities. During November, our solicitors waive our usual fee for a basic Will and invite you to make a charitable donation to Will Aid instead.

What is Will Aid 2025?
Will Aid 2025 is a long-running annual campaign where participating law firms draft basic Wills in return for a donation to charity. Since 1988 the campaign has raised over £24 million in donations, with many millions more pledged in legacies for its partner charities.
Suggested donations for 2025 are:
- £120 for a basic single Will
- £200 for a pair of basic mirror Wills (for couples)
Donations are shared between eight well-known charities: Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, SCIAF (Scotland), Trócaire (N. Ireland), and — new for 2025 — Crisis and Shelter.
A recent Will Aid poll found that around 66% of UK adults either don’t have a Will or have one that’s out of date — making this November the perfect time to act.
How it works at Mancini Legal (Horsham & Haywards Heath)
- Book a Will Aid appointment for November with our Horsham or Haywards Heath team.
- We’ll take your instructions and draft a basic Will (or basic mirror Wills) for your circumstances.
- Instead of our usual fee, you make the suggested donation to Will Aid (or more if you wish).
- We’ll guide you through signing/witnessing so your Will is valid and stored safely.
Appointments are always in high demand, so early booking is recommended.

What counts as a “basic” Will? (And what if my situation is more complex?)
A basic Will typically covers: naming executors, appointing guardians for children, specific gifts, and who should inherit the remainder of your estate. If your needs are more complex (e.g., multiple trusts, business or foreign assets, bespoke tax planning), we’ll explain your options and any additional work (outside the Will Aid scope) before you proceed, so you stay fully in control of costs.
Why write your Will with Will Aid?
- Do good while doing something vital. Your donation funds charities tackling poverty, emergency response, children’s protection and homelessness.
- Get it done properly. A solicitor-drafted Will reduces the risk of mistakes or disputes later.
- Clarity and peace of mind. We’ll help you choose executors, provide for loved ones fairly, and make practical decisions about guardianship and gifts.
- Local, friendly support. Meet at our Horsham or Haywards Heath offices, or ask about remote appointments if that’s easier for you.
What to bring to your appointment
- Full names and addresses of people/charities you want to mention
- Your executors’ names (and reserves)
- Names of any guardians for children under 18
- A rough list of assets/liabilities (to help structure your wishes)
- ID (standard legal requirement)
(Don’t worry if you’re not sure on every detail — we’ll guide you.)

FAQs
Do I have to donate the exact suggested amount?
Will Aid 2025 publishes suggested donations (£120 single / £200 mirror) to ensure the campaign raises meaningful funds; if you can give more, it’s always appreciated.
Can I include a charity gift in my Will as well?
Yes. Many clients choose to leave a legacy gift to the Will Aid partner charities or other causes alongside providing for family.
What if I already have a Will?
If it’s out of date after life changes (marriage, children, house move, divorce), November is a great time to update or replace it.
Are Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) included?
LPAs aren’t part of the basic Will Aid scope, but we can advise on and prepare LPAs separately if you’d like to organise decision-making for health and finances.
Can you help with inheritance tax planning?
We’ll flag where basic Wills are sufficient and where targeted IHT planning or trusts could help. Any additional work will be quoted clearly before you decide.
